NWWS

With the strong arming for a "Capitol Imprvement Plan" I feel that NWS is looking for ways to pad their involment with us due to our ignorance. I think we need to find out what their proposal is and what services we can use of them. For getting a Grant or a Government Loan they definitly have the expertise to expedite the process. But as far as installing a treatment system, they are not the only ones in town. We are in compliance with the WSDOH. What everybody wants is no iron or magnese. OK, lets treet that. As far as a tank on the hill, we would still need to treet the water to get the iron and magnese out. The question would be what size of treatment system to buy that would take care of the added capacity. I think we should gather info and get schooled from NWS and see what other companys have to say. The reason we contacted NWS was to get in compliance, not for improvements. If you Google iron in drinking water, you will see all our options.

Special meeting

The letter is going to say: A Special Meeting is to be held on Sunday Aug. 29th at 2:00 pm at the Ashford Fire Station for further information in regards to Water System Improvements. If all information is available, a vote to proceed to the next step is possible. It is advisable that for your voice to be heard, you need to attend.

Sending out a proxy for this meeting seems senseless, for the people not in attendance will have no info to base there vote on.

Or we gather info, have another a board meeting, send out another letter for a vote.

I have to get this out by Friday the 20th.

Another Water Leak

Please check your properties for a new leak. I will wait to call helen's pumps till I here from everyone.

1. I am reminding you all of the paperwork that I rec'd from the State regarding our water system status change and the new procedures that we need to have in place by 4/15. We have been getting new forms from the state and county for the water system. We need to hire someone that knows what/how to conform with the new laws.

2. I am reminding you all of the report I rec'd from North West Water Systems with regards to the Alpine Village Property Owners Water System SWSMP. There is a binder full of information and it's too large to send in an email.

I would like to suggest that we schedule a meeting sometime soon to go over these issues.
